This collection features 38 stock footage and stock video clips. Brought on by
Mother Nature, or manmade, disasters affect us all. They can be horrific to
those of lucky enough to be far away when they strike and fatal to those who
become trapped in their outcome. We start our collection with two clips of
animated radar image of a hurricane over Florida. A car and a man on a bicycle
try to pass through flooded downtown intersection. We then have a series of
aerial views of a flooded rural area. The tops of several homes can be seen
above the floodwater. Video is taken from a helicopter and pans along as the
helicopter flies. A ripped off roof; a stop sign submerged by flood water; a
vehicle driving on a flooded road. U.S. military helping a family pick through
the rubble and wreckage of their home after a tornado.
Gale force winds blow as a hurricane hits a small coastal
town, cuts to tornado forming cuts to over flooding of water. We have a shot of
a Federal Emergency Management Agency FEMA sign. Pan back to view other signs plus a
